Rev. Tom Miller
Hello Mt. Hermon United Methodist Church,
Maureen and I are humbled and honored to be a part of your church family. As a pastor I seek God’s discernment to grow others and myself in our spiritual journey so we may become the people God created us to be. I believe the same is true of our church. With your prayers and assistance, I seek God’s discernment for this church to open doors of opportunities for us to be the body of Christ and to do the ministry of Christ.
I believe the future of our church will continue a rock of Christian tradition in our community. Along with that tradition, this church is in a position for unlimited possibilities of Christian ministry and Christian growth in our community. I am thrilled to be here and to be a part of not only your current ministries, but to join you in your dreams for future ministries as we grow together in inward holiness and outward compassion. I believe for Mt. Hermon UMC, the best is yet to come. With God, all things are possible.
I discovered that God may whisper to you, then nudge you and if you still do not listen, God will literally knock you off your feet to gain your attention. Leave it to say, once he got my attention, I put my selfish plans aside and began to follow God’s plan for my life. I feel witness to what it means to follow God’s plan for your life. God will open doors that you never thought were possible to open. He will lift you up when you do not even realize you are down.
Are you making a life decision right now? Are certain doors closed to you despite your efforts? Do you choices in life seem to not fit into God’s plan for your life? Then, please come and together with the power and the guidance of the Holy Spirit we will seek God’s grace for your life.
God has revealed the beauty of His purpose for me to share with you here at Mt. Hermon. Thank you for allowing me to serve you and together watch our church grow stronger in Christ.
In Christ,
Tom Miller
